About

What started as a 1-year long student project at the University of Southern California has now expanded into a fully realized experience. The project's experience revolves around the interaction with creatures as you photograph them. The game was featured in Nintendo Indie Direct 2021 and is set to release on the Nintendo Switch in June 2021. 

My Role:

Beasts of Maravilla Island started as a year-long school game project in which collaborated with a team of 28. 

 

As a 3D artist on this project, I have modeled, textured, rigged, and animated the 3 main beasts and main character, Marina, as well as 8+ smaller creatures using Maya, Photoshop, and Unity. As the main character artist and animator of the team, I worked closely with the director and designers to ensure that my models and animations were easy to work with and fit the specific needs of the project.
